(^)Shiver of happiness ran through her as the females took their sentry positions on either side of her. So this was what it was like to have friends. Gratitude was strong to these females, though older then her. She watched her father walk toward her brother, knowing he was smart enough to work it out for himself. Her eyes flashed to the pup though, seeing his tail disappear into the darkness. She watched her brother, who seemed to be unaware of the pup�s disappearance. She nuzzled her thanks to both females and stood slowly. She limbed a bit on her left front leg, but it really wasn�t that bad. She drug that leg over after the pup, not really wanting him to go. In the moment of happiness she had felt she had forgotten about him. She�d like to befriend him, if at all possible. (^)
