: steps quietly from the wagon...blue-green eyes flit around the camp...one brushes curls from fair face...sighs..pads over to the servery..enters..steps lightly to the cooling room..slips in and gathers up some bosk lard..slips out and pads over to the counters..grabs some clean cloths...leaves the wagon..turns and strolls over to the cooking fires..places the things down..

: one spins around and skips over to the freight wagon...hops in...tip-toes to the back of the wagon..picks up a basket of brak bush and some kanda leafs that one left some time ago..turns and leaves the wagon...weaving silently back over to the cooking fires..one slips to knees..pulls over a small kettle.lays it to the side ..turns and spreads out one of the rep cloths..placing the brak and kanda leaves within..folds it over...leans over and picks up a flat rock..crushes the leaves..then places them in the kettle...adds some of the lard..

: one leans up on knees..places the kettle over a small flame..begins to stir gently till the lard is melted...leaving it to simmer over the low heat...one rises and flows over to the med wagon..golden curls gently fly about one as a small breeze whispers thru the camp..one slips in the wagon..gathers up several jars..turns and steps from the wagon..heads back to the cooking fires..

: leaning over...one places the jars in a large kettle of heating water...one adds more chips to stroke the flames higher..bringing the water to a boil..one moves the kettle from the flames..leaving the jars within..one turns and skips over to the servery..enters...washes hand...grabs a large basket and a funnel..pivots on small ankle and leaves the wagon..walks silently back to the cooking fires...lays the funnel down..one holds the basket firmly and with some tongs..lifts the jars out into the basket...

: floating down to rounded knees...one dries the jars and lines them up...leans over...draws the small kettle of mixture closer...then places the funnel into each jar..one at a time..filling them with the healing salve ...once the jars are full...one places the kettle and funnel to the side...seals off the jars tightly...gathers them in the basket..rises and takes a few to the servery..placing them towards the back of the counter...slips out and pads over to the med wagon..slips in and places the rest of the jars within the cabinets...leaves the wagon...

: one pauses...blue-green eyes look over the camp...then to the plains...sighs..one scampers back to the cooking fires...picks up the small kettle and funnel...saunders down to the river..washes the kettle and funnel..turns and quietly flows back to the servery..enters..replaces the basket and funnel..hops out....gently smiles over the silent camp..
