Hello, I am a ham radio operator, and am interested in gold mining/prospecting/nugget hunting. I live out here in Tonopah, Arizona and am trying ot find a buddy or someone who is more knowledegable out gold prospecting than i am, as I am not having any success right now. Have been trying to find out if there is any mines out here in Saddle Back Mountain as I heard that some gold has been found out here and that there used to be a gold mining operation out here many many years ago. My metal detector is on the fritz so I have to do everything the hard way, take test samples and see what I come up with but and getting very discouraged. I do need some help if anyone would like to give me any info they know, etc. I did download the software off of echolink but, since I am still a novice, I have been denied access. I found out why I could not find the software to download and that is because the wrong website was given, here is the correct one...http://www.echolink.org Hope that helps everybody. I have no ham radio right now! Hope to hear from someone and help with some info! 73
