The riffle tray cloth is open to choices. Some have even used a material called "bateist" (spelling) However many types of cloth will do the job.

Some use "shirting material" which ia a light denum. Check weaving and porosity. Be sure to stretch the cloth a little while you check it.

Usually the riffle tray cloth can be changed if it does not work as well as you wish. Thre is much more things more
critical to success than the choice of riffle tray material.
