Luke... Gosh, I worked at Kaiser back in the early 1960's. It was then going full bore; about 7-8000 employees. I started out as a trainee in the merchant-scalp mill. Then to the Tin Mill as a roll shop foreman. After six years, I saw the writing on the wall, over-regulation and foreign competion--- the same as what put Kennecott Copper under. So I moved on to better things.

Became a dumb old "shop teacher" in FUSD. Then in 1990 it was decided that the kids did not need industrial art classes and I lost my Happy Home.

I also live in Rialto. If you ever go out coinhunting give Dee at Stapp Mining a call. 909-844-7060. She is knowledgable about a few of us who go out detecting locally.
