Subject: Jim McC--- thunder and lightning

Jim--- going back to the thunderstorm on Thursday evening.
As I carried Bella to my daughters car, she was very concerned about the noise. This was during the worst of it and it was really pouring full-time. About 7:00 PM.

Tonight she grabbed my head and said loudly "no thunder."
She is aware of my hearing loss and makes sure she has my attention.(Gloria and I baby sit her during the week. Her mom, our oldest granddaughter, works for Bank of America. The grandmother, our youngest daughter, works for Lewis Homes.) I guess you were experiencing the same storm in Landers.

I called and briefly chatted with Richard S. in Newbury Park. All is fine with them. They are publishing books.
