Phil-- I ordered the 10-inch DD coil made in Australia. It may work well in the alkali. Unfortunately, the Garrett Monos may not be ready until maybe late June or July. It is my hope that the Australian coil manufacturer may also build a bigger Mono, say about 12x24.

I think the Garrett Infinium has potential as a nugget shooter; but needs a range of coils for different situations.

I really liked the info you posted months ago regarding waiting 3-seconds each time in making the different freqency adjustments. I found myself impatiently turning the dial too fast---not pausing enough to obtain the quietest frequency. I now count slowly to more than 3-seconds before making any adjustment. --- Jim
