Subject: Trip Report: North Cal detecting and dredging

Hey, I know that this forum focuses mostly on desert metal detecting, but I thought you guys might want to take a look at some different prospecting environments. I just got back from an extended prospecting trip to Sierra City, California, where I did a little detecting, and some dredging. I wrote up a full report with lots of photos, so I did it as a separate web page. Come and take a virtual prospecting trip with me. You can find it at:

http://www.tomashworth.com/mining/cralph/prosp_web1/Cal_dredge_trip.htm

Post any related tales, comments and questions here and we can talk about it in this thread. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed my trip.

Reno Chris
