Jim,
You are sure welcome! In the first class picture with just the Elementary grade kids,the boy on the top row and at the end on the right side is my late Dad (kinda serious expression). On the front row, the little girl with the "halter top" and belly button showing is my Aunt Marion and also on the bottom row and far left, the boy with the blond hair and smile is my late Unlcle Charlie(directly in back of him is his brother Ralph) and of course the building in back is the Goler Canyon one room school house.

How did you like the picture of the long sluice? Pretty amazing what went on their in those days and before the 1952(?) Arvin earthquake there used to be water. The cement stands for the Fine Gold 1 are still there when you first enter the Canyon from Goler Heights and to the left is where Charlies Dad built their first "house" against the hill.
Too bad you couldn't make it out to the Taft Club get together this Sat. Going to be another one on the 25th of this month too that I will be at. Hope we can meet again out at the Rand Slopes. Maybe you could show me some of the placer spots in the Stringer District. Hope you have a good time with the AV group.
