Gosh Ray--- I'm getting old and forgetful. I don't remember but Cal-Rads are a good value and I use them mostly. (Maybe thats why my gold-poke empty as most seem to use Koss)

PI-types are the future in the areas where the VLF-types are noisy. I used a Minelab 2200 and now using a Garrett Infinium. As I write this only the 10x14-inch DD is available but my "Crystal Ball" predicts the 8-inch and 10x14 monoloops to be on the horizon.

I sure would like to see the Goldquest in action with the 11-inch Monoloop. Jerry and Rick are both using Minelab SD/GP with 14-inch Coiltek and Koss headphones. They both out-punch me (with Infin/DD/Garrett headphones) with both depth and sensitivity to small targets.

However, the Garrett is easy to learn and get the best out of it. 2200d next and GP a little tricky. Actually, I feel pretty positive with the Infinium. My hope/hunch is the Monos for the Infinium may level the field???
