Hello Dick,

Gosh we gotta be careful of what kind of paper trail we are leaving. I hope our women-folk are not reading out posts. We cannot have too many control boxes, coils, stems, wands, and headphones. (Some women-folks collect shoes, hats, and purses like us guys collect detector-stuff)

I really like my XT-17000. It has been well used! In 32kHz with the small circular 6-inch DD it goes after the flakes in drywash tailings piles and can be shoved under brush. There is a lot of interest in this 6-inch. They were made for the 18000 and I understand that they are no longer being manufactured? I was fortunate to locate mine through "Finders" in Australia two years ago.

The coils for the 17000 and 18000 are interchangable. Also with the new Eureka Gold. Coiltek makes a 15-inch open spoked DD which will boot up all three machines.

Also the White's GM2, V/sat, 4b and GMT coils interchangeable.

This gives us detectorists more bang for the buck.

My home address is 19225 Mesa St. Rialto CA 92377.
I will send something in return.

I hope to hear from Art,

My Best Wishes to All,

Jim
