jim i wish i had some great tips to give.i have been looking for spanish gold coins and not finding any.i have not had the infinium out looking for nuggets yet.it is a bit of a trip from where i live to any nugget area. i have not found any rings or jewlery because i am not in a highly used area. what i have found is i get a lot of false signals from hitting anything with the coil. i need to run the disc at atleast 2-3 on the beach and higher under water 3-4.
