Subject: Vein Shooting

This question is for you experienced 'Vein Shooters' out there and I just know there are some :o) The question is if you had a choice (and I do) to use an SD2000 (Non-Modified)with the 18" Minelab Monoloop(old style)or the new SD2100 with the 14" Coiltek Monoloop to do your vein search , which would you choose? I suspect the 18" monoloop will punch down deeper for larger nuggets even on the older SD2000 than the newer SD21000 will with the 14" Monoloop. I could bury some 1 and 2 ounce targets in moderately mineralized ground and do some serious testing to compare the two systems (I know this sort of testing is debatable) but am hoping for a helping hand from one of you wild eyed but knowledgeable 'Vein Shooters' Any help will be greatly appreciated. Could this question be right for my hero - Jim McCulloch? :o)
