Howdy Potholes Bob,
I took the time to test the 15" WOT coil on the XT18000 just a couple of weekends ago in 6.4Khz. I buried different size targets at various depths. Some were gold and some lead. The ground was mildly mineralized and dry. I found the WOT coil by Coiltek to perform basicly as well on targets up to 2oz.troy in weight as the SD2000 did using the 18" Minelab Mono!!! I used the XT17000 earlier on in my nuggetshooting ventures and now I use the XT18000. Except for the 60Khz they both perform about the same except I believe the XT17000 to be a smoother running machine. The 60Khz on the XT18000 is really what I wanted and it paid for itself in short order by finding those .1dwt. and .2dwt pieces of gold a little deeper than any other machine I've tried except for the Goldbug 2. The Goldbug 2 will beat um all in that area but it's limited to only one frequency. Hope this is of some help to you out there. Take care.

Wishbone
