Subject: A little help????

years ago an oldtimer told me about a rich area but cause it was behind locked gates, couldn't show me where... and dumb me didn't have a map for him to mark... the only clue other than general area, was that it's an arroyo that's not an arroyo.... Ok, so what does an area that looks like an arroyo but isn't one look like on a map ????? Or for that matter, on the ground?
