Chuck; my truck is still hanging in there. I wouldn't know what to do with a later model; 1979 F-150 4-wheel drive. Bought it in 1982 with only 16,000 miles on it; mag wheels and fiberglass shell. $4200 cash plus a 1 and 1/2 oz. nugget; was given a $2000 credit for the nugg.

I got rid of the oversize mag wheels and went to smaller steel rims with Toyo tires; I'm lucky I was not named the "Flat-tire Kid." Also, I put on 3/4 camper shell and now it is my home away from home. Truck is still the original silver color but third paint job is now starting to rust.

Good luck with selling gold. Lots of fake nuggs (made with scrap gold or "dust")out there. Some buyers are "skittish."
