Hi Phil,

I sure don't see any problem with the posts here. Lots of good info, presented in a friendly fashion. In my own case, I just could not let the post quoting a 9" depth difference between an SD and Infinium go without response. That simply does not fit what I and numerous other operators of both the Infinium and SD2200D have observed.

It's because I like the Infinium that I am careful not to overstate claims for it. People who attempt to sell by overstating a product end up doing more harm than good. I prefer to undersell. I like my customers to be pleasantly surprised when they get even better results than what I claim for something.

I ran a service department for a couple years. Always pad the time quote, then call the customer when the work gets done "early". Really happy customer. Or be too optimistic with the time to finish. Now, it gets done in the same time, but the customer is mad because you are late!

Same performance, vastly different customer response. Overstating performance is one of the surest roads to customer dissatifaction I think of, whether it be detectors or nearly any other product.
