Good Evening Jim,

With the standard DD coil the number runs from a high of 89 to a low of 20 all depending on the area. On Saturday I'll take more notice of the number. On the average I can run the gain between 4-7.5 before the unit becomes unstable.

Back to the ground balance number on the left. Correct me if I have it mixed up. 50 is netural ground; while numbers lesser than 50 indicate a more positive ground; while numbers greater than 50 indicate more negative ground balance. Thats the way I understood it from Jimmy Sierra tape that accompany my new GMT.
