Subject: Colorful Cripple Creek (Colorado)

This is an interesting story about Cripple Creek Colorado. Notice the last paragraph about the geode full of crystalline gold.

You can also see some examples of crystalline gold on this web site, from both the USA and Australia. Select the catagory in each type.

Crystalline is normally purer gold. I had one nugget tightened at a point it was about to break by a jeweler using a laser. He called it pure 24K gold. That would be nugget #1060 on the US Crystalline page and was discovered in Alaska.

I don't have the names of the formations of crystalline specimen formations on the tip of my tongue, but will look them up if you want them.
