The operation is not bad; mine was done as an outpatient and a new lens. The results were absolutely great. I was having trouble telling some colors--- like blue or green and everything looked washed out and dingy. I guess it was like a TV soap commercial. My left eye is still the before and my right eye the after.

I hope to get my left eye next. Corrective lens not a good option. I was unable to feel safe driving at night and Gloria did the night driving. I got so bad I could see nothing but halos at night, could not even read road or street signs.

Gloria was assertive and got me an appointment with the dr; he saw my problem--- I now understand there are different forms of cataracts and dr agreed that mine needed correction. I was on a waiting list for about six months before surgery.

Cataracts come on slowly; someone may not know they have them developing. I went from a thick lens on my right eye to no correction needed for right eye. Now I can tell I have a cataract in my left eye. Dingy and dull; even on a bright day.
