Subject: NUGGETS, my favorite subject

I would like to know of likely areas to find more gold
detecting spots above 4000'elevation in Nevada Co.,Placer Co.,and El Dorado Co. California,U.S.A.,as I am extremely allergic to Poison Oak.
I have been investigating the Hwy20 corridor in Nevada
County,but have not done well detecting there yet.I do do
ok in the Poison Oak except for itching and resulting sores.
Research tips,books,librarys,maps,resources,and suggestions are all welcome also.I do currently use "Gold Districts of Calif.,Bulliten #193" and W. Lindgrens early 1900's Reports.
