I's even longer when all of your grandparents parents, in-laws, uncles, aunts, many cousens, nieces, brother-in-law, high-school friends, siblings and even one of your children are gone.

It is a time of renewal. The cousens, siblings and children have kids of their own. They grow up and have kids of their own making you great uncles, second and third cousens even a great-grandparent.

You try to go back to your roots for a visit to find your grade-school boarded up, your early childhood home bulldozed. Time flies.
