Ralph, the older Goldfoot has been replaced by the better (lighter, more stable, more sensitive) "Hot Foot." Nine inches long, by 2 inches wide, very thin, it is of a very hot DD design. More sensitive on smaller nuggets than the standard White's DD, and it gets inground about 90% of the depth of the standard DD (by my testing). Super light weight. Retail $179.95, but I know where you can it it cheaper.... ;o) HH Jim
