Subject: Fisher Gold Strike

Howdy everyone

Since the subject of the Fisher Gold Strike has been mentioned I'm still debating on getting one. I have the 11-minute video and while putting together booklets I watch it. By now I have it memorized. My next step is getting an operating manual. I do not rush into things. Both my Lobo Super Trac and 17000 with 6-inch circular DD coil (in 32 kHz) have in the last couple of years pulled out over 1200 grains of nice eluvial gold (55-pieces in all) in western Nevada in the alkali trachytes where most VLF & LF flounder.

If you get LT magazine there is an article by Dick Bosinski on one of these trips; we were not in the trachytes so the VLV/LF's were okay. I think we may have hit a clip zone of a Tertiary channel--- some of the gold from one of the locations is shown pictured in the article. However, I only used the LST and 17000. Most of the locals were using the Gold Bug-2 with the 6.5 coil.
