You got it, sweetie...and I am proud of you. Keep in mind my latest post, which you have not yet read. It is NOT just about Christmas. I am practical and realistic. You have a family and much to do before Christmas - only a few days away. Do your thing for your own, hon. But come back after Christmas with the realization that we are up against a global movement and we cannot rest. If anyone here is going to make New Years Resolutions, make them to become informed about what is really going on in our country. Remember that GW's concession was to Ted Kennedy's No Child Left Behind and as much as I like Bush, it was a concession and only that and I don't trust anyone anymore with the future of my children and grandchildren. Know that there is truly a movement toward socialism and that your childrens' teachers have embraced it and are teaching it to your children in our public schools. There are those who berate conservatives who have supported vouchers, without realizing vouchers are not what conservatives really want. That conservatives want no governmental intervention in our children's education is paramount. What they don't understand is that we conservatives are using the same subtle and incremental steps the socialists have used. If we can get the focus off public education and dilute it and water it down, perhaps we can empower others to go after helping parents to homeschool, to promote magnet-type schools. I cannot impress upon all of you enough that we have reached a really scary moment in time and we MUST speak up and out for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
