I agree with you, lion, but I think someone needs to tug hard on Wallace's reins. We have enough problems already. Franks and Rumsfeld both had to waste time with explanations regarding his statement. Not only that, but it created opportunity for even more world-wide ridicule. Yes, video war games are used as training tools, but they are used knowing that the human factor is missing and cannot be duplicated in the games. What was it that Yogi Berra said? The hard part about predicting the future is predicting the future? He also said "If you don't know where you're going, you might end up someplace else." The real intelligencia in our government and our military know that the only thing that is certain is that the plan will most likely have to change. If it doesn't, then a miracle has occurred. Saddam and his henchmen are fighting only to preserve their wealthy behinds. They don't care about their people. They simply want to retain their own personal lifestyles. It is time to find all of them and destroy them by whatever means is necessary, but not a pace set to coincide with TV commercials. This ain't a football game.
