Subject: When they're no longer useful...

I see the Supreme Court has decided to step in on Tenet v. Doe. "Doe," in this case is a disgruntled foreign-born couple who are claiming the CIA coherced them into spying in an East Bloc country by promising them that they would be rewarded for their efforts. The couple now reside under assumed names in the glorious U.S. of Friggin' A as citizens of this country. And that ain't enuff?

If the couple gets what they are asking for, we may just find their bodies washed up on a beach off the New England coast, or, if they are "lucky," they will be wisked away to an undisclosed hole in the ground, where they will "happily" spend the rest of their lives. How about if O'Reilly does a special segment on this subject, entitled: "Where are over-the-hill American-born spies now?" And while we're on the subject, where are OTH American-born assassins? Do retired assassins and spies have great benefits? Are they able to enjoy a pleasure cruise from which they know they will actually return? Do they make enough money to plunk the extra in a college savings account for their grandchildren? Can one use "U.S. spy" or "former CIA assassin" on his or her resume when applying for a job? Should these jobs be making the Top Ten Most Coveted Jobs in America list?

As for me, I've already planned it out. I've sent copies of my life story to six unrelated people to be disseminated if I should die a mysterious death. Or if I can't get a job because I'm over 50. Whichever comes first.

It is 957 pages long, but it's not my fault. It was much longer until my handler asked for a copy.
