I know a couple of car forum guys who live in Cape Coral, near Ft.Meyers. One lost all of his shingles and the rain ruined most everything inside his house. His roof did stay on though. He also had an old classic, restored Thunderbird and the 145mph blowing sand blasted all of the paint off. He figures around $30,000 to $40,000 damage. His electicity and water was off for almost 2 weeks and there are probably downed cell towers.
The other guy lost water, sewer and electricity, his roof, windows and everything inside and a tree smashed a car of his.
