My apologies for not being here. Sometimes coming in here just seemed to make feel lonely, but even though it's taken awhile, I'm comin' around and I'll be fine.

I worry about you guys. Herb, I hope your son is still helping you out? I know I complain sometimes about lack of alone time, but I at least I know if something happened, I'd have someone around. Ron, you take it easy and don't push it with that shoulder. I keep meaning to go to my yahoo mail so I can get your email and send you and Bar the one I use. I will do that sometime in the next couple of days, so watch for it.

I head to Albany this afternoon to do a little shopping and to babysit for my grandsons. Had a stress-free pleasant 53rd birthday yesterday. I am easy to please. Everyone knows a book makes a great gift for Mom. I am now laughing with Ann Coulter and have the 9/11 Commission Report and "Persecution: How Liberals are Waging War Against Christianity" (a little light reading?). I can never read one book at a time. A couple of weeks ago, I located the calpatriot.org forum and posted a few things there. I have to get back there as it's my turn. As usual, I went off on a tangent and read an ebook which was a compilation of papers received for the Boone Conference in 1991. This was a meeting of feminist archaeologists and anthropologists and of course I had to wade through several papers on how feminist researchers are left out of these discussions and pages of statistics that supposedly prove the male scientific community is biased in their research about women's role in prehistory.

By the way, the calpatriot forum is the one started at Berkeley by conservatives. The founder appeared on FOX News, which is why I decided to check it out. Conservatives at Berkeley? What a novel idea! Anyway, I was trying to figure out the best way to teach these young guys about how the feminists have screwed up society. Not an easy task when they have grown up not knowing any other way.

I should dominate the local newspapers this week and tick off (hopefully) a lot of people. It's the best thing about getting old. You don't care if you hurt other people's (especially liberals) feelings anymore and nothing they say back bothers you. I know I'm right and I know they're wrong.
