Subject: Balance is a verb

See if you can follow my thinking here and tell me what you think. I was trying to describe in abstract terms why I feel that capitalism is the best system.

Socialist god Noam Chomsky would say that socialism is the rung above capitalism. I very much disagree with him and with other socialists on this.

If you picture scales, you might be able to say that if perfectly balanced, they represent socialism. But if they remain always balanced, then obviously, there is no movement on either side of the scales. If there is no movement, there is stagnation.

Capitalism represents a system based on movement, not stagnation. The very fact that it is unpredictable means that it is most like man himself, and like mother nature, as well. It is also why the two-party system works within a capitalistic society. In other words, perfection is to be found in imperfection and in the up and down motion of the scales in the striving for balance, but not in balance itself.

Does this make sense to you?
