I think both of you know how much your support has meant to me over the past few months. I got the lion a new tape recorder for Christmas and I told him tonight if he'd like to tape a message for me to post here, I would do that for him, but he nodded and fell asleep. Today marked a change of sorts for me. I had to give him the liquid morphine I'd been dreading giving him for the first time. Our nurse said "days only" and I knew that already and I think he did, too. But, we've had your support and the support of so many others. Aussie Lady Di called the other day and I was grateful to her for that. Bunnyhunny called today. Cousins Elizabeth and Cheryl have called. Herb checks in with me from time to time on icq. Laf's nephew Lutfy has been wonderful to both of us for the past few weeks. The lion's brother and sister-in-law keep in touch constantly. My kids have also been wonderful and I think my son will be joining me this next weekend to help. It has been a rough year. Draggie's crystal sits less than a foor away from the lion on his nightstand and his grandmother's medicine bag hangs from the lamp pole, but all the vibes in the world will not work forever. Draggie knows this and his grandmother waits for him on the other side.
