Subject: Goodbye my friend Laf.......

When the call came last night, I somehow knew what it was for. I had felt a strangness in my body at about the time Laf passed forward into the next life. It was 7:45pm Mountain time. I talked at length with Sage and then after getting off the phone, I cryed for some time. I will miss him. I cannot properly tell you all what he meant to me in my life. But I know what you all meant in his. He sometimes told me how happy it made him to come here and see what you all had written. Now I write here for what for me is the last time. for I do not think I can come here now that he has left.

He had in his life the great luck to have a lady come and love him. Sage gave Laf what he lacked in his life. Love, kindness and respect. Compassion, and she knew how to handle the Lion when he got out of hand. Sage is a wonder and she will need all of you around her now. Please be there for her.

Rest well in the Summerlands my dear friend. For as I sit here and write, in my mind, I see you riding on your beloved horse, who preceeded you there. In a stetson and jacket and with a silly happy smile on your face. Rest well beloved friend who now wears a new and shiney lions suit. Rest well and know how much we will miss you and love you always.
