Subject: Indulge me, please

This piece of music (I Want to Kiss You All Over) was on Laf's website was I first started coming here. I think he finally talked me into visiting back in 1999. He was so proud of this site and spent much time on it - tweaking here and there, trying new things.

There were days when we had things to do and he'd say, "Gimme me five minutes." Three hours later, he'd push himself away from his puter and say, "Ok. I'm ready!" He had things he wanted to say and he was going to say them here in his world.

He also said them in our little world here at the hovel. He would start telling me one of his stories, which led to another and another. A couple of times I fell asleep. Not because the stories were boring because they were anything BUT, but because it had been a four-hour show. lol!

I bought him a tape recorder for Christmas, hoping I'd be able to get him telling some of those stories on tape from his hospital bed. But he only told me two or three after Christmas and I didn't want to ruin the moment by turning on the recorder.

I'll miss that story-tellin' of his. I never knew anyone who could tell them he like he did.
