Subject: Coming to a town near you

I've long been wary of the fact that our colleges and universities are populated by an inordinate number of liberal teachers and professors.

Recently, while reading the online version of my hometown paper, I noticed that there is a big brouhaha going on at the local community college there. It seems that a popular professor (one who was voted "Teacher of the Year 2003" by students) has been denied tenure and the board has decided to not renew her contract, allegedly because of the anti-war views she has expressed in her classroom.

According to one article, she has also expressed admiration for the soldiers who are fighting the War on Terrorism.

BUT, professors are expected to reinforce unbiased teaching guidelines by staying within them.

Please take a few minutes to visit the following website No Indoctrination.org, then tell me what you think.

Should colleges and universities add to their list of quotas to fill and be required to hire a mix of 50% registered Democrats and 50% Republicans for history and other politically-sensitive courses?
