With love and gratitude...

Sage, I just popped in here tonight after a very long absence, and wrote my message not realizing that J is gone. I don't have regrets for we had said all the important things years ago. Fortunately, it was a part of our personalities at the time not to leave them unspoken. I'm sure everyone misses him, and I want to acknowledge the enormous contribution he made to my life. He boosted my almost-nil confidence, he saw things in me -- strengths -- that I hadn't seen. More importantly, he pointed them out. I will always be grateful for him and having known him. Thank you for keeping his forum going.

P.S. I lost another important man in my life -- 2 months to the day before J died -- my dad. He, too, had cancer -- leukemia. I'm not sure if I'll ever be over it.
