Now THAT'S MAGICK! Draggie, are you listening...or were you the one who taught Joe that particular spell?
Thanks for the wishes and smiles, you two. There hasn't been much to smile about lately. The lion begins his fourth and last course of chemo this morning. Frankly, we don't know if going through the 10 days of the growth hormone shot again is worth it. Laf did not "bounce" back this time around. He's sleeping a lot. I apologize to any of you we owe an email reply to and for not being able to be here at forum. I will try to do better and keep everyone informed. The doctor had told us that after chemo was done, the lion would have a period of time when he would feel better. We're hoping he's right, but if not, and this is as good as it will get, then things ain't good at all.
I had a strange dream last night. I was running from a man with a sword. My son had a sword, too, and was doing his best to fight him off. Suddenly, Nate's sword began to glow. The man's word came down on Nate's several times, then he stopped, backed off and dropped his weapon. He stared at my son in wonder, as did I. Then he bowed and spoke radidly in a language I didn't understand and he ran off. The dream scene changed and I was in a circle of people who were squatting around a fire. One of my daughters was in that circle. There was either a hole with water or a pot of water and as I gazed into it, I could see the reflected faces of all the people...except for my daughter's face, which glowed, but showed no features in the reflection. Others began to notice this about her and they jabbered amongst themselves as though they were confused and frightened. That's all, folks. The dream ended when the alarm sounded at 6 a.m. Anyone up for a little dream interpretation? I've never in my life had a dream with any sort of magic or religious implications, nor do I ever remember my dreams this vividly.
It's almost time for me to wake the lion, so I'll leave you with that odd story for now.
