I like that and, knowing you, it friggers! Thanks for a smile when I needed one. As for Ron and Bar, they don't realize it yet, but you have done your children (and the surviving spouse) a HUGE favor they may never appreciate... but perhaps the children eventually will. The no-frills cremation package seems very austere and devoid of a lot of what is - to me anyway - unnecessary frills and furbulows that serve no real purpose other than ostentatiously obscene profit margins for funeral directors.

Should Sage decide to hold a public viewing/wake/visitation for me once I am not here to object, visitors will have to understand that I was more concerned for her continuing to live than in the "prettiness" of a box to hold what is no longer me.

If I get my wish, that box will be draped with an American flag, as I feel I deserve and have earned the right to have. The presence of that flag should cover the insignificance of the box in which those remains rest... as is only proper. It would be nice if our government's bureaucrats allow me this one final mark of respect and honor I purchased with a part of me and my life - as well as a thousand nights of nightmares since those days of Hell turned on its side and poured out on the heads of millions of unsuspecting, unprepared for the consequences young American men and women.

If I can't convince the military that they owe me this one final act of recognition, I intend to get seven good ol' boys from Smalltown, Georgia, U. S. of friggin' A to bring their shotguns and tell them it is a new open deer season. I am sure they can egt their shotguns to handle three rounds each. I know if they are told it is quail or duck season, they could handle five shots each just like they do most of the time here when it really is bird season. Show me a good old boy from these parts with a semi-automatic or pump shotgun and I will show you a guy who doesn't have the plug that came with the shotgun any more.
