Subject: In the midst of our finest hour, our darkest hour also rears its ugly head

Sometimes I want to embrace the American people in a giant bear hug of gratitude, then along comes the lowest forms of human life to destroy it all.

There are people in this country who are trading on the natural and understandable concern of our citizens for our troops, especially members of their families who are in that Area of Operations. Even worse, there are some so filled with vileness that they prey upon those families in disgusting money grubbing ways... or worse!

A T-shirt firm in Michigan is operating a web site. They promise 100% of all income from the sale of their patriotic T-shirts will go to the American Red Cross. They have not sent the Red Cross a single penny and now the Attorney General of Michigan is going after these sleazy scumbags. I hope that he finds a way to punish these asses appropriately or that Michigan law enforcement types look the other way while Americans mete out some appropriate justice for them that involves bruises, contusions and broken bones... as they deserve.

A Detroit company (Razzamatazz, or some such) is selling "commemorative coins" on the Internet, with a promise that a "soldier" will receive a free coin for each one purchased... at a price of $20.00. The value of the "coins," if delivered, is less than 50-cents each and absolutely NO coins have gone to anyone in the military that authorities can ascertain. Again, the Attorney General of Michigan is going after this sleaze bag who is operating from his Detroit apartment. The sleaze explains that he is "... just trying to make a living."

Families with sons or daughters in the Iraq Theater of Operations have been getting telemarketing calls from some true weasels. For the promise of "daily updates on the whereabouts and condition of the family member in service," these bast***s are trying to charge $100.00 per month! Saddam Hussein is less vile than bloodsuckers like these and they need to become ground zero for a few 2000-pound bunker busters in their jockey shorts as far as I am concerned.

The sickest of all hoaxes however goes to some of our "peace-loving protestors" who have organized what has to be the most vicious, low and disgusting of all the dirty tricks known to mankind. They call families with service members in Iraq, pretending to be military officials and notify the family that their loved one has been killed, presumably in a "friendly fire" incident. No one has identified the specific perpetrators of this vileness, but when they are identified, I would very much like the opportunity to "forcefully express my opinion" of them personally. Those slimes need to die. There is no other appropriate punishment for such vileness, in my opinion. If allowed to remain alive, they ought to be prosecuted under the Homeland Security Act as terrorists, for that is exactly what they do. They spread terror and hurt people out of some sort of belief that they are morally superior. They are not and their cause has been discredited by realities on the ground in Iraq.

Have any of you folks heard of other such scams? Please share with us and, if you have an identity, please share that information as well. I am attempting to obtain the e-mail addresses of the two Michigan scumbags. When I get them, I will publish them here so everyone can let them know what we think of them.

I do have some concerns about some things I perceive to be "failures" of the Bush administration's conduct of this campaign, but I am still totally in favor of the action President Bush took there and his reasons for doing so. No military campaign is fool proof and this one is no different. I just think some things were foreseeable and preventable. I am curious as to why they weren't prevented or addressed prior to them happening. That IN NO WAY means I find any fault with our military men and women in the field. I'll discuss those concerns in more details in the days to come when there is no longer any danger to any of our troops. In the meantime, would someone please get the word to Bubba and Jimmuh the Geek that they have a right to remain silent and we sure as Hell would appreciate it if they both shut the Hell up!

Either of those slimes discussing the "failure" of our foreign policy under Bush is like Ted Bundy giving security advice to college coeds or me giving golf tips to Tiger Woods. Bubba gave us Kim Jung Il and the North Korean nuclear shenanigans we have to clean up now. Jimmuh the Peanut Brain gave us Yasser Arafat and his murderous reign and they dare say anything negative about President Bush? Frankly, I am much happier and confident with a "cowboy" in the White House than I ever was with either of those two horses' asses.
