Congratulations, Honey! I have 3 such critters, including one little princess born only 6 months ago whom I have yet to cuddle. I was somewhat hesitant about the "grandma" thing, too. "Grandma" sounds so old! My oldest grandson, who is now almost 10 years old, solved that problem for me when he began to say his first words. Somehow, "Grandma" turned out to be "Babboo" (pronounced Bahboo) and I grabbed that and ran with it...lol. I am now Babboo to all of my grandkids and even my own children and their friends use it. And I love it! Ask Deb, who posts here occasionally. Deb is a long-time friend of my family. She wouldn't know what to call me if Babboo wasn't available. She knows I was always a stickler for being called "Mrs," rather than by my first name. That insistence was not so much for me as it was to remind an errant generation that there were such things as manners and they'd better use them. Deb decided she'd call me Babboo many years back and I appreciate and enjoy it. It's comfy.
