Recently we had a West Coast Senator address a high school class and falsely state that Usama bin Laden had spent millions of his own dollars to "build roads, hospitals, schools and daycare facilities in Afghanistan" and that the US had not doen these things. That was why (she claimed) radical Islamic Arabs support bin Laidbad and hate America. Of course, she was totally and completely wrong.

BinLaidbad spent money building roads to his training camps only and nowhere else. He build hospitals ONLY for wounded Al Qaeda fighters, not the average Afghani. He built madrassas that only teach hatred to young boys and nothing to girls who were considered mere chattel of men. There were no "daycare facilities" built by been Laidbad whatsoever.

By contrast, over 80% of aid to Afghanistan during the decade prior to our campaign to rid Afghanistan of bin Laidbad and the Taliban Tallywhacker Twirlers came directly from US taxpayers!

Yesterday, a woman who was elected to Congress lashed out at Treaury Secretary O'Neil in a committee meeting because he could not tell her exactly how much a war with Iraq would cost, how much money had been spent by the military to date on the Persian Gulf buildup and a number of other amounts expended on other government efforts for homeland security.

She was onbiously blatantly unaware that the Secretary of the Treasury deals with economic POLICY and not accounting. She became incensed when another member of the Committee pointed out humorously that she had confused the Secretary with the Secretaries of Defense and Homeland Security as well as the heads of the Congressional Budget Office, the GAO and the Presidential Budget Adviser. She was also extremely displeased with the head of the committee who patiently and calmly tried to explain to her that funds budgeted in the last national budget were those being expended on those items she had questioned and that no one can possibly estimate the cost of a war without having all the fixed expenses and all possible variables locked into place.

In short, she was made to look like the uninformed, ignorant, bellicose, partisan fool that she was, and is. That angered her at others instead of her more properly being angry with herself for not having a clue as to how the federal government works, is organized and who passes the budget bills she claims don't account for money being expended now. I only hope that her constituents were watching and realized how truly incompetent and out of place she is in Congress or in the company of anyone other than equally uninformed high school drop outs.

Now comes the piéce de resistencé of stupid things said by elected Congresscritters....

"If you think back to our founding as a country, we are a country of revolution... One could say that Osama bin Laden and these non-nation-state fighters with religious purpose are very similar to those kind (sic) of atypical revolutionaries that helped to cast off the British crown."

Those are the EXACT words of Ohio Dumbocan Representative Marcy Kaptur, likening Osama bin Laden to George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton and Patrick Henry. She said this to a group of high school students no less!

Where the Hell is the outrage on these kinds of gaffes by Dumbocans? Should George W. Bush, or any Repoob say anything even remotely as stupid and ill informed as this, Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw and everyone at CNN would have done bulletins and hour long somber news specials to expose it.

Here's a frightening thought... perhaps they too really don't know the difference between our Founding Fathers, what they stood for and believed in, and Usome-a been Laidbad. Ms Kaptur, immediately leave Congress today and quietly enroll in a remedial class for your GED. Even Toledo, Ohio deserves better than you.
