Dear Lion, you already know what I think. The music alone brought tears to my eyes many months ago. It called me to action and I went on a two-day rampage to get it out there on the web because there are so many who need to hear it.

So often, words are put to music that doesn't need them and they distract one from private thoughts. What you have written here, however, only enhances and expands those thoughts.

You have shared with me your anguish and tears over the deaths of soldiers caused by enemy troops, as well as your anger over needless deaths caused by officers more concerned with medals than with the lives of their subordinates or soldiers who neglected to follow orders and who paid the ultimate price for their actions.

But no matter the cause, the result is always the same. They have left someone behind. A wife, a family, a nation...and there is grief.

This message from beyond the grave will in time give a measure of peace to the inconsolable.
