while i think it may be very inspirational for a young girl to see liz rocking it the way she does - her lyrics are overtly sexual and may not be appropriate for a girl of that age.

I completely agree with the reply from Rich. My daughter is 13 now, and we have seen Liz Phair 3 times this year already! Yes, a few lyrics are not appropriate for a young girl this age - My daughter has her opinion about those songs (she thinks it's not that cool for kids) - but - she can see Liz for the genuine person and accomplished rock musician and song-writer that she is - and she knows those other singer acts are produced people by slick marketing companies.
We just returned from seeing Liz in SF at the Nike Marathon concert - and Liz saw what a fan my daughter is, and reached her hand out and brought her on stage to dance & sing with her for a entire tune! Liz also let a you boy play drums on "Why Can't I" - Liz is a class act all the way.
