Trodding along in the snowy landscape, you remember your old home, and think how it all is so unfamiliar here. You dare not howl now, for fear of alerting any other wolves that may be in the area. Snow crunching almost silently beneath your weight, you walk steadily onward into new lands, and into a new life.
The sun rises lazily in the East. Your paws are starting to get cold, but you continue onward. The heavy smells of forest life drown your senses: pine, spruce, cedar, all the woodland creatures, and the ever-present scent of snow and winter.
In a few more minutes, you find yourself scaling a tall mountain path, watching the calligraphic sunrise. Once atop the slope, you can see all the rich lands around you. They're filled with life, even in this seemingly dead season. Throwing caution to the wind, you howl hauntingly, your notes dancing in the wintry air like feathers caught in a breeze. Slowly they wind downward to a Baritone note, sending chills down any listener's spine.
Alone, at least for now, you pick up the pace, and begin running towards your destiny.
