Subject: NRMA share buyback revisited

I did the NRMA share buyback thing because the way I read it there would be no capital gains tax payable. On the notice I received from them, there is a "capital component". Does this mean I have to put this on my tax return as capital gain? I'm a bit confused.

I did my tax on the computer last night and if I have to put that in as a capital gain, I have to pay heaps of money so I'm not happy!!

Maybe I should just get somebody to do my tax and pay for the privilege but didn't really want to.

Can you give me some advice please?
