Sorry to see that Colorado Springs has gone, though much has changed there at P. Ranch over the last 17 years, since the last movie was filmed, I'll always think of it that way.

The surrounding neighborhoods, the loss of homes, so devastating. Malibu evacuated, Jane lives there, just renovated her amazing home. Hoping she shall be spared the anguish of damage to her home.

Joe lives in Pacific Palisades, they're safe.

So many movies & shows were shot in the western town since 1927, & it will live on, in film. Wondering if they'll rebuild?

What are your thoughts, friends?

Holly H.

It's sad, some would say it's only a film location, but it's a lot for the fans, the historians, and the park rangers. I had imagined perhaps one day to visit it, when I will be retired.
If it is to be rebuilt, the historians and connoisseurs of the site will have to be decision-makers. But I have a doubt because it already seemed difficult to maintain and fix it.
We don't know where Jake Lando is studying. There is a university in Malibu, not far from Pacific Palisades, where students are still confined. Hope everything is going well.

This is so sad! The loss of lives and property is devastating. My prayers go out to all.
Take Care,

True, Isabelle, Jack Lando could have stayed in-state for college, saves out-of-state fees.

The Train Depot is the only remaining structure original to DQMW, though the newer church/school is still standing. I'm pleased to see so many of the trees, too, as nature finds a way to rejuvenate, & we may see some new, green leaves come Springtime.

As to rebuilding, they'll do something, will need a western town set in the future. A cleansing has taken place, & we shall look to the future, & see what comes.

In great news, Joe Lando's listed in the returning cast of CBS' Bold & Beautiful for Nov. 12-15!!
