Loss of a loved one, be it family member, friend, or even a pet, can be devastating. And everyone grieves differently. Some bounce right back and move on. Some will go through emotions of sadness/loss/depression, anger, and hopefully acceptance. You do what is best for you. If it is one thing I know, it is about grieving. When we lost my grandson to SIDS 6 years ago, it was the worse thing ever. It took lots of time, but my daughter has been able to move on and be there for the children she still has. And together we are able to discuss him now without tears. His 6th birthday would be April 18.
