I understand the fans wanting Joe on Facebook - seems like everyone else is (Jane, William, Jonelle, Helene just to name some others from DQ) - but quite honestly I don't think there would be any more contact with or news surrounding him than what we have right here on the web page.

It would be nice yes, but after all these years, Joe has become more private since having a family. And I will admit, I get frustrated like many others who visit the web page on a daily basis just to see if there is something new to read and then find nothing. And while I think it would be great to know what Joe is doing and thinking about, I realize I chose to be a fan. He did not ask me to be a fan. So I take it as it is and if I choose to continue to be a fan, I check back again the next day with hope to find something about Spotlight, The Bay, or something new Joe may be working on.

I can't be more agree, Penni. I'm not frustrated by the Joe's choice, but by the directors who don't give him the chance to show his great talent.

Hi Isabelle & Penni

I agree totally with you both, I just wish that more directors would recognise the talent that Joe has and give him some good roles that we can view him on not only in the USA but all over the world where his fans are. I just get frustrated that we do not see much of him on our TV screens these days.

Penni, with regard to Jane on facebook, it is not actually Jane but a fan that is doing the page, I thought it was her but there is a disclaimer from him to say that it is not Jane herself but he is doing a facebook page for her, what information is correct that he puts on I am not sure and I am not aware if he is connected to Jane's official fan base or not.

There is also a Byron Sully on facebook but again I think that is a fan doing that page.

Have a great week all.

Love
Sheena xx

Color me crazy, but I just assumed all celebrity pages on Facebook were run by a club president or a fan. Which is another reason I was thinking Joe would not want a Facebook page since he has his own web site. I am friends with William Shockley and Jonelle Allen and I always assumed there was a fan with connections writing the information. Maybe some of the celebrities do keep up with their own page, although sometimes it is hard to tell which ones do. Have a great week.

Sorry Penni, I did not mean to insinuate that you did not know it was a fan doing Jane's facebook page.

I am friends with Jackie Collins and her's always feel as if she is answering things herself and putting on news articles she also puts a lot of photo's on her page of her and her sister and makes comments on them so they do feel as if they have come from her, even some of the answers to the questions I have put on are answered but then again it could be a fan or an agent doing the page, you never really know.

But I agree with you I think it is mainly celeb fan's or agents that do their facebook pages.

Have a great weekend
Love
Sheens xx

Sheens, no offense taken or apologies needed. I was only saying that I was under the assumption that all celebrities hire someone to speak on their behalf. Therefore, with that in mind, I don't feel Facebook will be on Joe's list of things to do. I believe it is Judy who tweets on Twitter in Joe's behalf and having a Facebook page would only add on to the duties Judy has already running the web site and the twitter account, not to mention her "real" job. Hopefully we will hear something soon.
