* Meet at 10:45am, line-up at 11:00am, at the corner of Wilmington and Lenoir Streets (close to both the convention center and Memorial Hall) Parade begins at 12:00pm (Inis Cairde dancers will likely start a bit later than noon -- it depends on where we are in the lineup.) We are expecting well over 100 people to be marching in our group, though, and that is why it is crucial that you be there at 10:45am so we can line up.

*Parking: both Wilmington and Blount are closed off early in the morning, so you might try the new parking garage down the hill from Memorial Hall.

*Parade Route: Wilmington to Edenton to Blount, finish at Exploris and Moore Square, where there is live music, food, games, and St. Patrick's Day Festivities throughout the afternoon

*Best spots for family to watch: #1 the grassy knoll in front of the capital building, #2 close to Exploris, at the end (this is very crowded)

After the parade is finished, we will all line up in front of Exploris for some photos, and then at 1:30pm we will have a 15-minute performance spot in Moore Square in front of Greenshields Brewery and Pub (the opposite side of the park). Beginners are invited to perform their jigs in this performance, and will need to wear their Irish dancing shoes. Please check the sign-up sheets at the studio.
