Subject: God's word can set you free from sin!

In Response to those that believe we can never be able to
completely stop sinning while living in this present world.

My prayer is that in reading this you would study all scriptures,
and read this entire message. Please be one willing to contend for the
faith as stated in{Jude 1:3}. The bible says in {Pro 14:15} “The simple
believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
We should be one that’s willing to hear, and study out how others
interpret scriptures. We could learn alot if we would have an open
mind. I listen and read as many as I can, and in doing so, I have
come to the knowledge of truth on alot of things in God’s word. If we
have an attitude that were right no matter what others may say, we
could find ourselves being deceived.{Pro 14:12} says “There is a way
that seemeth right unto a man, BUT THE END THEREOF ARE THE
WAYS OF DEATH. Again, please read and study this entire message
before you count it as false. If you think I’m in err, be one willing to
help me. May God open your eyes to His marvelous truth. He will if
you would only open your hearts door. Jesus is now knocking.
Thank you my friend. : )
{Luke 11:28}
“Blessed are they that hear the WORD OF GOD and keep it”
{John 8:51}
“If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death”
{Rom6:15}
“Shall we sin because we are not under the Law,
but under grace? God forbid.
In other words, can we still sin even though Christ is our Saviour.
NO!!
{Rom6:16} Ye are servants to whom ye obey, either ye are servants
of righteousness, or ye are servants of sin...How much more blunt is
this verse? If we sin, then we are servants of sin! {Heb 5:9} Paul
talking about Christ, He became the Author of eternal salvation unto
all them that OBEY HIM. Notice in {Gal 5:3&4} Paul names a number
of sins, and then he says to, “Let it not be named once among you, as
becometh the saints:
{1Peter4:1} “Forasmuch as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh,
arm yourselves likewise WITH THE SAME MIND: for he that hath
suffered in the flesh, HATH CEASED FROM SIN;

{1Peter 4:2} That he NO LONGER SHOULD LIVE THE REST OF HIS
TIME IN THE FLESH TO THE LUST OF MEN, BUT TO THE WILL
OF GOD. And just what is the will of God?

{Rom 12:1} “I beseech YOU brethren, by the mercies of God, that YE
present YOUR BODIES a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable unto
God, which is YOUR reasonable service. And be not conformed to
this world: but be YE transformed by the renewing of YOUR mind,
that YE may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect,
WILL OF GOD.

{Rom 8:8} “They that are in the flesh CANNOT PLEASE GOD.

{Rom 8:13}“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die; but if ye through
the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body ye shall live

{Gal 5:19} (Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;
ADULTERY, FORNICATION, UNCLEANNESS,
LASCIVIOUSNESS, IDOLATRY, WITCHCRAFT, HATRED,
VARIANCE, EMULATIONS, WRATH, STRIFE, SEDITIONS,
HERESIES, ENVYINGS, MURDERS, DRUNKENNESS,
REVELLINGS, And such like; of the which I tell you before, as I have
also told in time past, that they which do such things shall NOT
INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

{Gal 5: 22} LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONG-SUFFERING,
GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE:
against such there is no law. And THEY that are Christ’s have
crucified the FLESH with the affections and lust.

To live after the flesh simply means to commit any of the works
that are described in {Gal 5:19}. To mortify through the spirit the
deeds of the body simply means to crucify the FLESH by doing what
is described in {Gal 5:22}.

What Paul is saying in{Gal 5:21}is that "They which do such
things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. He names sins that are
in the flesh. And then Paul says, if anybody is guilty of any of them,
they shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.

{Gal 5:24}“They that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the
affections and lusts. Which simply means, if we don’t commit any of
those sins stated in{Gal 5:19)We are then saved from them.

{Matt 1:21} “And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shall call His
name JESUS: for He shall save His people FROM THEIR SINS, Notice
it does not state in there sins, BIG difference.

When we first began our walk with God, sure we still had
problems with sin!! That’s because we were not yet saved from them.
To say we are saved from our sins as stated in {Matt1:21} is to say we
have the power to not commit them. Take for instance, say I couldn’t
swim, and was drowning in a lake, it just so happens that a lifeguard
comes by and sees me, now as long as I’m in the water I’ll drown
right? I’m not saved until he pulls me out, and then I’m saved from
drowning. The same is true with us concerning sin, until God gives
us the power to not commit them, we will not yet be saved from
them!! {Romans1:16} “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:
for it is the power of God unto Salvation{ James 1:21} “Receive with
meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save our souls? and
obey it, {James 1:23} “But be ye doers of the word, and not just
hearers only . Then are we saved from our sins.

These are very powerful scriptures, The bible is saying we are
saved if we receive and obey the words that He spoke. We grow into
servants of righteousness, We are to {1Peter2:2} ”Desire the sincere
milk of the word that ye may grow thereby. {Matt 10:22} “He that
endureth to the end the same shall be saved.

That’s why Paul said “They which do such things SHALL NOT
inherit the Kingdom of God. To be saved means we have inherited
the Kingdom of God because we have ceased from those sins. Only
because the words of Jesus is in control of our lives. If you were to
say you would inherit the Kingdom of God, and still continue to
commit any one of those sins that Paul stated, is saying that Paul is in
err. Please continue reading

{Titus 2:11&12}says, For the grace of God that bringeth salvation
hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and
worldly lusts,we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this
present world. Don’t let some one tell you that, living in this present
world you don’t have to be free from committing all sin, because we
do. We will if, we let Jesus take control in our lives. He is a present
tense God! “He is ever so present in time of need. “Remember” He
will never leave us, nor forsake us, He’s an on time God!
All the time!!

{John 4:2} (KJV) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every Spirit that
confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.
To confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh means that Jesus
Christ is come in our flesh, and controls our lives, and gives us the
power we need to live righteously before Him) It does not say has
come (Past tense) in the flesh. Most people believe the bible is saying
that, Jesus came to this world in the flesh, “which is true He did!. The
devil believes that! does that make him of God? No! A lot of people
believe that Jesus came to this world in the flesh, and they don’t even
serve Him! Does that make them of God? Again No! The bible is
saying, “He is come in our flesh (Present tense) “That is if Christ is
our life! Most bibles other then (KJV) has changed the word is to has,
and it changes the meaning of Gods word, and the bible says in {Rev
22:19} that if we take words from this book, God shall take away his
part out of the book of life. We must live by every word that
proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Lets not be guilty of taking
words out of the Lords mouth! What a fearful thing to be guilty of.

{Matt 7:14} Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which
leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The only way we can
find it, is to be willing to believe what we read in God’s word, and
live by it{1John3:9} “Whosoever, is born of God Doth not commit
sin For His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin because he is
born of God.” The seed is the WORD OF GOD as stated in {Luke
8:11} We must get full of it.

Why do preachers say we can never cease from committing sin?
God’s word says we can and must. Is God telling us to do something
that His word is incapable of doing in us? I know that he is faithful,
and I know that his word is true! So then, I will stand on His promise
that says, {Phil 4:13} “We can do all things through Christ which
strengtheneth me” and it does not exclude sin! If a person was to
believe that some sins we will always commit, than we would be
guilty of all sin! The bible says in{James 2:10} if we be guilty of one
point of the law, than we are guilty of all of the law.

All I do is quote certain scriptures in Gods word about sin, and
people think I’m saying I’m without sin! Why is that? Is Gods word
condemning them because they know they have sin in their lives and
always will? The issue here is not whether I sin or not, but rather
how God’s word commands we are to live our lives. I’ve never said I
was perfect! A true born again child of God will not say they are
perfect! That’s between them and God. If you were to ask them If
they was perfect, or without sin, they would take you to God’s word,
and let God’s word be the judge on how we are to live our lives. In
{Job 9:20} Job said “If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condem
me: If I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me preverse.
We are to press for the mark of the prize of the
high calling in Christ Jesus.

{Phil 3: 14} Paul says “I press for the mark for the prize of the high
calling in Christ Jesus? Then he goes on and says, AS MANY AS BE
PERFECT: And in the 16th verse “Whereto we have already attained.
We should pay very close attention to what Paul is saying in this
verse. Paul is talking about pressing for the mark of perfection. He
even says some did reach it. Why did Paul say (“as many as be
perfect”) if he thought no one will be?

Paul said in {Phil 3:12} ”Not as though I had already attained,
either were already perfect; but I follow after, if that I may apprehend
that for which also I am apprehened of Christ Jesus. In other words,
Paul is confident that he will be perfect. We must also have a
confident attitude.{Phil1:6} Being confident of this very thing, He
which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of
Jesus Christ. It must be our goal!

The bible says that we are to, {2Tim 2:15} “Study to shew ourselves
approved unto God. Why does Gods word say to study to shew
ourselves approved? Because Gods word is what saves us. The bible
says that Gods word which “Is the power of God unto salvation
”{Rom 1:16} Why don't people have an attitude that they will
overcome sin with the power of the Gospel, instead of saying, “Oh”
we will always sin" Is not God greater then Satan? Does not {1John
4:4}says “Greater is He that is in me then he that is in the world”.
Does not God have the same power to give us now in this present
world to overcome sin? Why would He have to come back to this
world before He could perfect His people? Is not God a Spirit? Is not
His Spirit suppose to be dwelling in His people, does not God have
the same power in heaven as He does on earth? Now these are very
serious questions that needs to be answered. “Yes” God is more then
able now!!

While we do live in this earthly vessel, Do you think God would
lead us into the hands of Satan? You are if you believe that God’s
word isn’t able to keep us from falling into sin!! What you are saying
is that Satan did put His throne above God, because evidently Satan
has more power then God Almighty. That's what people are saying.
In {Jude 1:24} my bible tells me that He is able to keep me from
falling, and to present me faultless before the present of His glory
with exceeding joy. Notice again, before His coming, as well as after.
We need to pay close attention to “every word that procceedeth out
of the mouth of God”. {Matt 4:4}

When old slew foot does show up, lets stand on God’s great
promise!!{1Cor 10:13} “There hath NO temptation! that will take us,
and that He WILL!! ”Make away of escape! also in {Heb2:18} “For in
that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour
them that are tempted. “What powerful scriptures! do you realize the
depth of these verses? How in the world can any one deny this verse?
it states NO TEMPTATION. And that is exactly what it means. I
don’t care what we are tempted with!! we have got to stand on God’s
promise stated here!! God wouldn’t have had this stated in His word
if were not possible!! Temptation is what leads us into sin if we give
into it right? The bible just said He will make away that we will not
fall into sin. And if we do“The wages of sin is death!! {Rom 6:23}

What’s so Great about God is that, He’s also the one that’s doing
the work in us.{Col 1:29} “Whereunto I also labor, striving according
to His working, Which worketh in me mightily. You see it’s not our
works, but it’s the works that He does in and through us.{2Cor 4:11}
That the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh)
He is our indwelling Saviour. Paul says in {Gal 4:19}“My little
children ( which means someone that is just beginning to walk with
God) of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you?
And when Christ is formed in you, then you have been saved from
your sins. Remember Jesus said that He would never leave us nor
forsake us. If we was to believe that we could be caunght off guard
and fall into sin, then you would have to say that Jesus did forsake
us!! would we not?

What we have got to keep in mind is that It’s not our
righteousness, “But it’s His Righteousness” We are to let Christ lead
our lives. Our body is to be a temple!{1Cor 3:17}says “If any man
defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of
God is holy, which temple ye are. So Christ can’t take up house
cleaning in a person that says they will never be able to completely
overcome all sin! You can if you let Christ lead and guide you,
{Pro3:6 says} “In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct
thy paths} God is wanting a people willing to allow Himself to live
through. {Col 3:4} When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then
shall ye also appear with Him in glory.{Gal 2:20} I am crucified with
Christ: nevertheless I live; YET NOT I, but Christ LIVETH IN ME:
and the life which I now live IN THE FLESH I live by the faith of the
Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me). For Him to be
our life, we must be a doer of His word. Jesus is the word.

How can a person overcome sin, if they say, “Well we are only
human and some sins we will always commit? With an attitude like
that, you will never overcome sin. To be a Christian means to be
Christ like. We are to put off the old man, which is the body of sin we
was born into{Rom6:6} says"Knowing this, that OUR OLD MAN is
crucified with him, that the BODY OF SIN MIGHT BE DESTROYED,
that henceforth WE SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN. And if we don’t,
and we call ourselves a Christian, we would then be making
ourselves better then Jesus! Who did no sin, are we above our
Master? “No” Paul knows to be in Christ is to walk as our Master.
The bible says in {Matt10:24-25}that “We are not to be above our
Master, but it is enough that we be as our Master”.

If you say you love God you prove it by what{John 14:15}says. “If
ye love me, keep my commandments Our lives should be consumed
with His word, We are to strive every day to become an overcomer.
Our Master is our example! {1 Peter 2:21} says ( For even hereunto
were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an
example, that we should follow His steps, Who did no sin!

I’ve had people tell me, “I can’t believe you think the Blood of
Jesus isn’t sufficient to cover our sins? I tell them I can’t believe
you don’t think the blood of Jesus has the power to keep us from
sinning. “Now that’s power!! Jesus isn’t walking behind us pecking
us on the head everytime we sin, He’s walking in front, leading and
guiding us, which is by His word.

{James 1:21} “Receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is
able to save our souls” Here again we find a “very very!! powerful
scripture. The bible is saying that, we are saved if we receive the
words He spoke. And {James 1:23}...says we are to “Be a doer of the
word, not just a hearer” There are alot of people walking around who
call themselves a Christian, and don’t even know what Gods word
says on the subject of sin. They just go by what their preacher says
without checking it out by Gods word. Gods word is the only power
unto salvation should we not go there? We are to “Count all men as
liars” {Rom 3:4} until it is proven to be true by God’s word, and not
man’s alone.

There are so many truths in Gods word that we must come to the
knowledge of! Because the bible says in {Eph 4: 13} “Till we all come
in the unity of the faith, and of the Knowledge of the Son of God,
unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of
Christ. The bible does teach that, we must believe that with Christ,
we can overcome sin. “If God be for us, who can be against us”
Nothing not even sin! With God on our side, Satan cannot make us
sin, as stated in {1 John 3:9} “Whosoever is born of God doeth not
commit sin, For His seed remaineth in him: AND HE CANNOT SIN,
because he is born of God. Again the seed is the WORD OF GOD. I
believe God’s word when Paul said {1 Cor 10:13} God will make
away of escape, so we will not give in to ANY temptations.

If people would only believe the power of His wonderful word!
That’s what He shed His Blood for!! He died for those words.
Are they important words to you??

Again {Rom 8:13} “For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but
if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall
live) What this verse reveals is that, if we give into sin that we are
tempted with, we will die the second death! But if we through the
Spirit obey His word, and not give into temptations, we will live unto
righteousness forever.

Paul said in {1 Peter 4:19} “And if the righteous scarcely be
saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? The
righteous are those that are free from sinning by obeying God. The
ungodly are those that say they are saved but still commit sin by
disobeying God, the sinner is one that sins and does not want to
know God. This verse should put fear in those that know not God’s
word.

I don’t know about you but, I’m willing to press for that mark, I
want to have the same testimony as Paul had.{2 Tim 4:7-8 } I have
fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which
the Lord the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: The fight Paul
is talking about is the battle we all will face with satan our adversary
which is out seeking whom he may devour. The one’s that are being
devoured, is those that do not keep the faith, and not living by ALL
scriptures that instruct us INTO RIGHTEOUSNESS that the man of
God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works, as
stated in {2Tim 2:16}

One of the first scriptures most people take me to is {1John 8-10}
So lets look at what these verses

{1John1:8} says "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves. Ok,
what this verse reveals is that, if we say we have no sin to be
cleansed from when we first begin our wanting to follow Christ. Why
do I say that? Because verse 10 says have not sinned (pass tense)
sure we all have sinned, we was born into sin. And In verse 9 the
Bible says “If we confess our sins He is faithful, and Just to forgive us
from our sins, And to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Now
what should stand out to us in this verse is, AND to cleanse us from
all sin (forward motion) It’s one thing to be forgiven, and intierly
something else to be cleansed. If you back up two verses you will
find out how this is done Peter says IF (Conditional) we walk in the
light as He is in the light (Meaning if we walk in the truth of His
word) The blood of Jesus will cleanse us from all sin, (not some sins)
Now you got to have an open mind and study this out!! The blood
that Jesus shed is for the NTC which is the word of God. Jesus said in
{John8:31} Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, IF
ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye
shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. The word of
God is what cleanses us from ALL sin. And it can be proven out by
the next verses we will read. In {John 17:17} it reads “Sanctify them
trough thy truth thy Word is truth. You see coming to the knowledge
of God’s word is what cleanses us from all sin and which in return
leads us to truly know God! Notice again what {1John1:9} says,
forgives us AND CLEANSES US. Let us look for a moment that
word (cleanse) To be cleansed means to be washed clean. Look at
what {Eph5:20} says “Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also
loved the church, and gave Himself for it; that He might sanctify and
CLEANSE it with the WASHING OF THE WATER BY THE
WORD. In {Rev19:7-8} God’s word again talks about the marriage,
and that this marriage is revering to the church in which that church
shall be arrayed in fine linen, CLEAN and white for the linen is the
righteousness of the saints.

You see Paul is saying that God loved us so much (just like we love
our spouse hopefully you do) that He was willing to come to this
world, and died on a cross to save us from our sins (not in them) and
give us words that we must live by. Jesus said in {Luke 8:28} “Blessed
are they that hear the WORD OF GOD and keep it” {John 8:51}} “If a
man keep my saying, he shall never see death” So then it’s those
words that will wash and CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness.
(which means His word makes it possible for us to not sin, only by
His help) That is IF we be a doer of those words and not just a hearer.
stated in{James1:22}.... In the previous verse it states “Wherefore lay
apart ALL filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with
meekness the engrafted WORD which is able to SAVE YOUR SOUL.
You see God did forgive us from our sins, but He also must cleanse
us. His word is the power He gives us to do just that!! Paul also said
in {Rom1:16} “For I am not ashamed of THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST
(His teachings) For it IS THE POWER of God UNTO SALVATION.
Meaning point A to point B a process of time.God’s word says that
we are to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman
that needeth not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth”
{2Tim2:15}

Do you not see the beauty of His marvelous word, and what affect it
would have on a persons life if they would only walk in the light as
He is in the light. The light is His glorious truth that He is faithful to
reveal to those that are willing to search out the scriptures to truly
find God!! {2Tim2:16} All Scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOSNESS, that the man of God may be
perfect, thoroughly furnished UNTO ALL GOOD WORKS. And Let
us not forget {2Cor7:1} Paul talking to the church People that has
begun to walk with God telling them “Having therefore these
promises LET US ( telling us to do something even though we
believe in the person of Jesus) saying LET US CLEANSE ourselves
from ALL(not some) but all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,
perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Now let us look at the first verse in the next chapter of {1John 2:1}

Notice!!!! "My little children(which means a new babe in Christ)
These things I write unto you , that YE SIN NOT And if any man sin,
we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. The
bible is telling us that, the problem we have with sin as new
followers of Christ, there is no way that we can overcome sin on our
own. We have an advocate, and that advocate is Gods Holy Word.
His word has the instructions on how to conquer sin in our lives. The
bible is saying that first we need to know that we have sin to be
cleansed from, then we can find help in Christ Jesus which is the
Word of God to solve the problem of sin. This is how God shapes us
into His likeness. I’ll say it again!! “Can you still not see the beauty
of Gods Great Redemption Plan? He's redeeming us back from
Adams fallen nature that he fell into. He's redeeming us back only by
the truth of His word. The Bible says {John 8:32}“The Truth shall
make you free {John 8:33} “And if ye be free ye shall be free indeed”.
Free from what? Free from the power that sin has in us. God is
coming back for a people that are sanctified holy by His word.
Here’s this verse again.

{Eph 5:26-27}“That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the
washing of the water BY THE WORD, that he might present it to
Himself a glorious church, not having SPOT OR WRINKLE; but that
it should be HOLY AND WITHOUT BLEMISH.

Only the truth will set us free from the power of sin. Sin is a
strong force, and only with God's help within us are we able to
conquer it. Are we {John8:34} which says “Whosoever committeth sin
is a servant of sin. or are we {Rom6:22} “But now being made free
from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto
holiness and the end everlasting life.

{1Cor 1:15} “Awake to righteousness AND SIN NOT.

1Peter 1:23} Being born again, not by the corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the word of God. Now this verse says we are born
again by the incorruptible seed which is the truth Of God’s word and
not the corruptible which is false teachings that satan is the minister
of. {1Cor 1:15} “Awake to righteousness AND SIN NOT.

{Ecc 12:13} “Let us hear the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and
KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS : for this is the whole duty of man.

Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to
present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding
joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty,
dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
{Jude 1:24}

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who
confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh This is a deceiver
and an antichrist. . {2John 1:7}

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches; To him that Overcometh will I give to eat of the Hidden
manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name
written, which no man knoweth saving he That Receiveth it......
{Rev 2:17}

And, behold, I come Quickly; and my reward is with me, to give
every man According as his work shall be.... {Rev 22:12}

Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: For I work a
work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe,
though a man declare it unto you. My prayer is that, Whosoever
reads this, is not one of the three. May you find favor in the eyes of
our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ... Amen ....{Acts 13:41}
By God’s grace,
