The Sub Artic is located in the northern sector of North America. Although it sounds like an unfavorable position for a stallion to hold its herd in, it does not mean the North Pole; simply north of most inhabited places. The winter weather can be harsher up here than the other three poles, but spring, summer and fall certainly make up for it. The days are much shorter in the winter, but the sun almost never sets in the summer months. Predators are random and chances of storms in any season besides winter are few and far between.
